Just to get creative and try to find something to attract more readers who love art to visit my blog. Hence, I share with you guys – my illustration of Forest Witch. The sketch was made 2 years ago and I had been keeping it in a stack folder of Procreate and since I needed to get things done and up ASAP on here, I just took this and colored it digitally. It took me 3 days to finish it and I remembered I sketched this one whole day. Perhaps, this could be used as one of the contents that I put in my vlog. Or maybe there could be another new drawing. But yeah, that I still don’t know yet.
I am proud that I managed to finish this so quickly. Making a webtoon where I usually draw and color 70 panels help me work the illustration faster than I expected. Of course, I bet a pro illustrator could do that in one day. But I’m just a novice. I just need to learn and practice more to get on their level. For now, I can only say it’s a hobby and if the webtoon hires me then I have to put my heart 100% into making lots of this.
Oh, did I tell you I make a webtoon as well? Yes, I am. Right now, I am still busy finishing the second episode of my romance/comedy series. It takes a long, long time to finish; from the original plan that I could do 1 episode per month, it is taking me more than 6 months to finish drawing almost the end of the episode. Most of the time I juggle my time to do some vlog’s editing and also, of course, my real life. What I know, famous webtoonist who update their comic per week (who are making long episode) or 3 posts per week (who are making a comic strip) has some assistants on their back. Me? I’m a one-man show. Things can be a little chaotic if I do all the things at once. That’s why before I get so productive these few weeks I had taken a long break, just to clear my mind and be able to rest. The topic will get deeper, but I for sure will blog about it next time =)
This is a fun question for you guys. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DRAW NEXT?
It is only until July 13th. 3 weeks on a break. It is not because I lack the passion to draw this comic, it’s upon my realization that there are not so many readers really wants to have a look into it. Thus, I shall put it on hold until I can come up with a new type of genre that everyone loves – romance.
The truth is, I have a mixed feeling to do this. I know it’s a tad bit late for me to turn back time but I know this is for the best. I have to do it one at a time and think this over many times because taking it all in because it is not good for my mental health.
It gives me so much of anxiety and no, I refuse to give it all in when I know there’s a better way to do this. I should’ve done the research about the popular genre on Webtoon that people would like to read. I didn’t know it is romance. Therefore I focus more on finishing the main comic I abandoned many years before. I missed illustrating my old blog with funny strips perhaps that was the biggest reason I did All The Small Thing comic on the first place. Sigh.
Fret not, my faithful ATST subscribers, I’ll update you guys whenever I feel ready to draw the strip again. So enjoy this last but not least my #7 All The Small Things comic – Childhood. Read here.
If you don’t see my drawing there maybe just maybe you see them here 😉 Until next time. Stay safe lovelies!
I should have started to try this platform 4 years ago when things still new. Now when I came back to have a look at it it has already evolved into one of the famous platforms where many webcomics creators chose to upload their stories for the pleasure of us to read.
These days I have time to proceed with what I already began–to publish my comic online. However, as I mentioned it on my vlog, the story wouldn’t be the one that I drew that time. I realized it’ll take time to finish and since I missed doing a comic strip, I attempted to do it and voila it is now already in 3rd episodes at Webtoon.
Please read here and if you like what you have read, please subscribe, like, give some comment and share it. It means a world to me. Thank you for showing your support on my comic.
